Setting the User Information
You can set a user name for print jobs and a PIN for secured printing. The set user name is displayed on the control panel of the device.
The default value of the user name is the Windows logon name.
Prerequisites
When starting the computer, log on as a user with administrator privileges.
Procedures
1.
Display the main screen of this app.
Select [Canon Print Assistant] from the Start menu.
2.
Display the [Device Settings] sheet.
3.
Select [Set User Information] → click [Settings].
4.
Enter the user information in [User Name] and [PIN for Secure Print] → click [OK].
5.
Click [Apply] in the [Device Settings] sheet.
