Registering Destinations to the Machine

You can register a destination from <Address Book> in the Home screen of the machine.
How to register destinations by entering the destination information directly from the machine is described here.

Select <Address Book> in the Home screen.

Select <Register Dest.>.
If a screen to enter the Address Book PIN appears,

Select the type of destination to register.
The screen changes to the screen for registering the selected destination.

Select <Name>.
<Name> can be left blank. However, if you specify a name, you can find and select the destination by searching the initial character of the specified name.

Enter the name to register in the Address Book, and select <Apply>.

Depending on the type of destination to register, select <Fax Number>, <E-Mail Address>, or <I-Fax Address>.

Enter the destination number or address, and select <Apply>.

Select <Register As>.

Select <Favorites> or <Coded Dial>.
If you register a frequently used destination in <Favorites>, you can easily select it in the Address Book.
If you select <Coded Dial>, select the destination number, or select <Use Numeric Keys> and enter the destination number.

Select <Apply>.
Registering a destination to the Address Book of the machine is done.
NOTE
Registering a destination from an LDAP server
If an LDAP server is in your office, you can retrieve user information on the server and register it in the Address Book.
Registering a destination from Recall Settings
If a previously sent destination remains in the recall settings, you can select it in <Recall Settings> and register it in the Address Book.
Registering a shared folder destination or an FTP server destination
When you want to register a shared folder destination or an FTP server destination, use the Remote UI.
