Printouts Are Dirty with Splattered Toner

This might be because an inappropriate paper is used or the amount of toner in the cartridges is low. Try the following remedies.

Are you using appropriate paper?

Check paper that can be used, and replace with appropriate paper. Paper that Can Be Used

Does dirtying occur when used in a low-humidity environment? (MF553dw / MF552dw / MF543x / MF542x / MF455dw / MF453dw / MF449x / MF446x / MF445dw / MF443dw)

Change the <Low Humidity Mode> setting. The effect is stronger with <Mode 2> than <Mode 1>. Try starting with <Mode 1>.
When set to <Low Humidity Mode>, print density might be light or uneven if the machine is used in a high-humidity environment.

Is the amount remaining in the toner cartridge low?
