If Paper Jams Repeatedly

A possible cause may be that there are paper scraps or foreign objects inside the machine or that paper is not loaded properly. Check the following.

Are there paper scraps or foreign objects inside the machine?

Check whether there are paper scraps or foreign objects inside the machine.

Is paper loaded correctly?

Fan the paper stack thoroughly so that paper is not stuck together.
Check whether paper is loaded correctly.  
Check whether the number of sheets of paper loaded is appropriate and whether the appropriate paper is used.

Do paper jams occur during printing on the back side of the paper that is already printed (manual 2-sided printing)?

Flatten any curls on the printed paper.
Select the [Print on the Other Side] check box in the [Paper Source] tab of the printer driver. [Print on the Other Side] may not be displayed depending on the printer driver settings. For information about how to display it, see the manuals for the relevant drivers on the online manual website.
IMPORTANT
For printing on the back side of printed paper, you can use only the paper printed with this machine. Do not use paper printed with a printer/multifunction machine other than this machine.

Do paper jams occur when printing on paper loaded in the optional paper feeder?

Remove and then reattach the paper feeder.
