How to Make the Paper Easier to Fold

By creasing paper, you can make the paper easier to fold. The result of creasing depends highly on paper weight. If the effect is not enough, change the crease setting and output with the optimal setting. Check the solution below.
NOTE
Multi Function Professional Puncher-B (optional) is required to crease paper.

When paper whose weight is 157 g/m2 to 209 g/m2 (58.1 lb cover to 77.3 lb cover) is creased, the amount of crack produced by creasing depends highly on the paper type. It is recommended that the creasing result be checked every time paper type is changed.
IMPORTANT
When stiff paper or smooth surface paper that may stick to the guide easily is used, creasing accuracy may decrease due to the operating environment. In this case, turn <REG. ACCURACY> of the Multi Function Professional Puncher-B to <ON>. However, turning this on causes reduced productivity.
