How to Speed Up a Print Job on Heavy Paper

The print speed changes depending on the type of paper and the paper's basis weight. Check the solution below.
When you use paper with a high basis weight, the machine prints images at slower speeds so that paper feeds smoothly and the toner is applied to the paper properly. If you set <Productivity Priority for Heavy 5 to 8 Paper> to [On], you can force the print speed to increase.
"Settings/Registration" > "Function Settings" > "Common" > "Print Settings" > "Productivity Priority for Heavy 5 to 8 Paper" in the User's Guide
NOTE
When <Productivity Priority for Heavy 5 to 8 Paper> is set to [On], print speed increases, but color/gloss/fixing quality may be adversely affected.
