A possible cause may be that network settings are wrong or restrictions are imposed on related functions. Check the following.
Network connection may have failed. Also see the items below.

Are all the necessary settings for use of the Remote UI enabled?

Check whether <Use HTTP> and <Use Remote UI> are set to <On>.

Are you using a proxy server?

If you are using a proxy server, add the machine's IP address to the [Exceptions] list (addresses that do not use the proxy server) in the Web browser's proxy settings dialog.
