[Windows] The desired function is not displayed (cannot be set) on the print settings screen
Steps for preparing model-specific functions for use after upgrading to a new machine or adding an option product to the machine are described here.
This section uses Windows 10 as an example.
When you start the computer, log on as an Administrators member.

In Windows, select [
Start]
[
Settings].

Click [Devices]
[Printers & scanners].

Select the model you want to use, and then click [Manage].

Click [Printer properties].

Select the [Device Settings] sheet and check if the configuration profile is appropriate for your model.
If it is not appropriate for your model, click [Change].
If a configuration profile appropriate for your model is set, skip to step 7.

Select [Select Configuration Profile Suitable for Your Device Automatically], and then click [OK].
If your device is not connected to the network, select [Select Manually]
select a configuration profile from [Configuration Profile]
click [OK].

Check that [Device Information] is set to [Auto], and then click [
].

Check that the configuration profile is set correctly, and then click [OK].
If the configuration profile is not set correctly
Set the configuration profile manually.

Click [Change] in [Config. Profile].

Select [Select Manually].

Select the required configuration profile from [Config. Profile].

Click [OK].

Check that the configuration profile is set correctly, and then click [OK].
