"The USB memory is restricted." Appears on the Display (Screen)
The machine is not set to save scans to a USB memory device. How to change the settings is described here.

Select <Menu> in the Home screen.

Select <Function Settings> 
<Store/Access Files> <Memory Media Settings>.
<Store/Access Files> <Memory Media Settings>.If a login screen appears,
Department ID Management and System Manager IDs are set on the machine. Enter the Department ID and PIN according to the following steps.

Enter the Department ID.

Enter the PIN.

Select <Log In>.

Select <On> in <Use Scan Function>.

Select <Apply> <OK>.

Turn off the machine, and then turn on the machine after 10 seconds.

If you cannot change the settings, contact your administrator.
