Streaks that are parallel to the direction of feed appear in the printout

Toner is not properly applied at the secondary transfer area. Check the solutions below.

IMPORTANT
This function is displayed only if the settings are made available by your local authorized Canon dealer. Even if this function is displayed, do not allow anyone to change the settings except for the system manager. For more information on changing the settings, contact your local authorized Canon dealer.
When using paper of 151 g/m2 or heavier, selecting "Image Priority" under <Settings for Mixed Paper Type Printing> may improve the situation.
Press  → [Adjustment/Maintenance] → [Adjust Image Quality] → [Settings for Mixed Paper Type Printing] → select [Faster Printing for Thin/Plain] or [Same Print Spd. as for Heavy] under [Image Priority].
Changing the setting values for <Adjust Paper Conveyance Support Plate> according to paper characteristics may improve the situation.
Press  → [Preferences] → [Paper Settings] → [Paper Type Management Settings] → select the type of paper you are using that has this problem → press [Details/Edit] → [Change] for <Adjust Paper Conveyance Support Plate> → change the settings of the paper conveyance support plate toward the plus end.
Changing the settings of the secondary transfer voltage according to the paper characteristics may improve the situation.
Press → [Preferences] → [Paper Settings] → [Paper Type Management Settings] → select the type of paper you are using that has this problem → press [Details/Edit] → [Change] for <Adjust Secondary Transfer Voltage> → adjust the voltage value to the minus end.
*When the Sensing Unit is attached, adjust the voltage by pressing [Adjust Manually].
