Coarse Image is Output, or Stripes Parallel to the Feeding Direction Appear

The speed of the secondary transfer belt is not suitable. Adjust the speed of the secondary transfer belt.

Remedy
To improve this situation, adjust the value for <Adj. Secondary Transfer Belt Speed> to match the specific characteristics of the paper. Also adjust the value according to whether the situation is coarse image or streaks.

This function is displayed only if the settings are made available by your local authorized Canon dealer. Even if this function is displayed, do not allow anyone to change the settings except for the system manager. For more information on changing the settings, contact your local authorized Canon dealer.
Press  → [Preferences] → [Paper Settings] → [Paper Type Management Settings] → select the type of paper you are using that is having this problem → press [Details/Edit] → [Change] for <Adj. Secondary Transfer Belt Speed> to change the speed of the secondary transfer belt.
For the coarse image, adjust the value toward the plus end. For the streaks, adjust the value toward the minus end.
When using paper of 151 g/m2 or heavier, selecting "Image Priority" under <Settings for Mixed Paper Type Printing> may improve the situation.
Press  → [Adjustment/Maintenance] → [Adjust Image Quality] → [Settings for Mixed Paper Type Printing] → select [Faster Printing for Thin/Plain] or [Same Print Spd. as for Heavy] under [Image Priority].
