For more information on changing the settings, contact your local authorized Canon dealer.
The temperature of the fixing unit in the machine is adjusted every time printed paper is changed depending on the paper types or the paper weights of the used paper. When printing a job with changing multiple types of paper, waiting time is required every time printed paper is changed because adjusting the temperature is required. Productivity can be improved by selecting <Higher Spd. for Each Ppr. Type> or <Fixed Adj. for Each Ppr. Type> under <Productivity Priority>.
Higher Spd. for Each Ppr. Type
A print job is printed so that there are fewer times of adjusting the print speed or the fixing temperature considering the paper types used in the print job.
Fixed Adj. for Each Ppr. Type
Print speeds are fixed for each thin paper and thick paper so that a print job is printed with fewer times of adjusting the fixing temperature.
