Multiple Glossy Streaks Appear Parallel to the Direction of Feed

The temperature of the pressure roller is not suitable for the paper. Check the solutions below.

Remedy
Setting toward the minus end for <Adjust Gloss/Fine Black> may improve the situation.
IMPORTANT
This function is displayed only if the settings are made available by your local authorized Canon dealer. Even if this function is displayed, do not allow anyone to change the settings except for the system manager. For more information on changing the settings, contact your local authorized Canon dealer.
Press  → [Preferences] → [Paper Settings] → [Paper Type Management Settings] → select the type of paper you are using that is having this problem → press [Details/Edit] → [Change] for <Adjust Gloss/Fine Black> → adjust the value for [Gloss] toward the minus end.

When using thin paper, selecting <Image Priority> under <Settings for Mixed Paper Type Printing> may improve the situation.
When using thick paper, selecting <Image Priority> under <Settings for Mixed Paper Type Printing> and setting toward the minus end for <Adjust Gloss/Fine Black> may improve the situation.
Setting <Correct Uneven Gloss for 2-Sided Printing> to <On> may improve the situation further.
In addition, Setting <Correct Uneven Gloss> to <0> may improve the situation further.
Press  → [Adjustment/Maintenance] → [Adjust Image Quality] → [Settings for Mixed Paper Type Printing] → select [Faster Printing for Thin/Plain] or [Same Print Spd. as for Heavy] under [Image Priority].
