Cannot Retrieve Device Information in FAX Utility (macOS 15 or Later)
If you cannot retrieve device information in FAX Utility, it could be caused by the following. Follow the instructions in "Remedy."
Cause
FAX Utility is not allowed to search for devices on the local network
Remedy
Allow FAX Utility to search for devices on the local network.
(1) Open [System Settings] in macOS → click [Privacy & Security] in the sidebar.
(2) Select [Local Network].
(3) Turn on [Canon FAX Utility].
