Specifying Associations of PDF Documents with Programs

You can specify whether PDF documents are opened by launching Desktop Editor or by launching another application that supports PDF documents when you open PDF documents from Desktop Browser.
NOTE
The application that is launched when a PDF document is opened from a Windows Folder is specified in Windows.
1.
Select the [File] menu > [Option] > [System Settings].
The [System Settings] dialog box is displayed.

[System Settings] > [Browser] > [Edit/Operation Documents] > [Select Program]
Select the [Prioritize Editor] or [Prioritize (Name of Application Associated with PDF)].
NOTE
If Desktop Browser cannot retrieve the application associated with PDF documents, [Prioritize applications] is displayed.
If [Prioritize Editor] is selected and the PDF is being handled in Desktop Browser, the following actions become available.
Starting Desktop Editor when opening a PDF document
Starting Desktop Editor to print a PDF document when printing
Starting Desktop Editor to send a fax when sending a fax

Click [OK].
