Creating an Installer for a Floating License

If you customize an installer for Desktop, you can create an installer that installs Desktop with a floating license already configured.
1.
Copy the "32bit" or "64bit" folder from the Desktop Installation Media to a location of your choice.
NOTE
Operations are not guaranteed if you change the content of the folder or the folder structure.
Store the customized installer in a safe place, as it is used when repairing or changing Desktop.
2.
Open the "setup.ini" file in Notepad, etc., and change the following values.
LicenseType
Specify the type of license. Enter "FloatingOnline".
LicenseType=FloatingOnline
LLSHostName
Enter the host name or IP address of the local license server.
If the IP address is "192.168.137.1", enter the following.
LLSHostName=192.168.137.1
LLSPort
Enter the port number of the local license server.
If the port number to use is "3333", enter the following.
LLSPort=3333
3.
Install Desktop using the installer you created.
For more information on installation with a customized installer, see the Administrator Guide.
4.
After the installation is complete, confirm that Desktop starts normally.
NOTE
For information on how to start Desktop, see the User's Guide.
