Port List

The following ports are listed in the port list.

If the settings are not updated, the port cannot be used. When you finish configuring the settings, make sure to update them. To update the settings, click (Update) in the Toolbar. Or, select the [File] menu > [Update]. For ports that have not had their settings updated, (Ports that can be added/updated) is displayed at the beginning of Port Name in the port list. Port names are shown sorted in ascending order the first time they are displayed.

Note

For ports that have not had their settings updated,

(Ports that can be added/updated) is displayed at the beginning of Port Name in the port list.

Port names are shown sorted in ascending order the first time they are displayed.

[Port Name]	Displays the port icon and the port name. The icon may vary depending on the port status. : Registered ports : Ports that can be added/updated
[Device Type]	The product name of the device is displayed in [Device Type] in the [Port] tab of the OS's printer properties. [iW Desktop Supported Device]: This is displayed if the device status and jobs of a device can be monitored through Desktop. [Standard MIB Device]: This is displayed if the device is not a [iW Desktop Supported Device] but is compatible with the standard MIB, and can monitor the device status in Desktop. [Other LPR Device]: This is displayed if the device is not a [iW Desktop Supported Device] or [Standard MIB Device].
[Device Name]	Displays the device name. When the device name cannot be obtained, it is not displayed.
[IP Address or Host Name]	Displays the IP address or the host name.

You can install up to 64 ports, including those waiting to be updated. By clicking on "Item Name" in the list, you can sort the list in ascending or descending order. By double-clicking on the port name in the displayed list, the port information properties window is displayed. When multiple ports are selected, the properties window is not displayed. By right-clicking on the port name in the displayed list, the pop-up menu is displayed. This is displayed if the [IP Address or Host Name] is a port set in Desktop Monitor Setup.
