Convert an application-enabled port to a standard TCP/IP port
In the [Method to Auto-Convert Ports] dialog box, select one of the methods for converting a printer port.
[Convert Standard TCP/IP Ports to Supported Ports]
The printer port that is configured to a standard TCP/IP port can be converted to an application-enabled port whose IP address is the same as the standard TCP/IP port. If there is no application-enabled port that has the same IP address, a new application-enabled port is created and the standard TCP/IP port is converted to this port.
[Convert Supported Ports to Standard TCP/IP Ports]
The printer port that is configured to an application-enabled port can be converted to a standard TCP/IP port whose IP address is the same as the standard TCP/IP port. If there is no standard TCP/IP port that has the same IP address, the port is converted to LPT1.
