Configuring Exceptions for Proxy Settings
When a HTTP proxy server is configured in the LAN, the connection from Desktop to Document Server cannot be established. In this case, follow the steps below to specify exceptions for proxy settings of a local computer on which Desktop is running. This section describes how to configure the settings in Internet Explorer 8.0.
1.
Start Internet Explorer > select the Tools menu > [Internet Options].
The [Internet Options] screen is displayed.

Click the [Connections] tab.

Click [LAN Settings] in [Local Area Network (LAN) Settings].
The [Local Area Network (LAN) Settings] screen is displayed.
4.
Click [Advanced] in [Proxy server].
[Proxy Settings] is displayed.
5.
Enter the URL of a computer with Document Server installed in [Exceptions], then click [OK].
6.
Click [OK] to close all the screens, and exit Internet Explorer.
