Configuring Page Layout for the Entire Document

This section describes how to configure the page layout for the entire document.
Note
The configured page layout setting is saved together with the binder document as its print setting information.
For more information on specifying a page layout only for the specified chapter that is different from that of the entire document, see the following.
When [Auto] is selected in [Output Size], [Page Layout] is changed to [1 on 1].

Select the page layout settings you want to configure from [Page Layout] in the [Print Settings] tab in the [Print Settings] pane.
The preview area is updated according to the selected page layout settings.
[Page Order] is displayed under [Page Layout] when something other than [1 on 1] is selected.
Proceed to step 2.
Note
You can select the following page layout settings.
[1 on 1]: one page per sheet of paper
[2 on 1]: two pages per sheet of paper
[4 on 1]: four pages per sheet of paper
[6 on 1]: six pages per sheet of paper
[8 on 1]: eight pages per sheet of paper
[9 on 1]: nine pages per sheet of paper
[16 on 1]: sixteen pages per sheet of paper

Select the order for the pages in the Print Settings Pane > the [Print Settings] tab > [Page Order].
The Preview Pane is updated according to the selected order.
Note
If you selected [2 on 1] in [Page Layout], the orders you can select differ according to the orientation of the output paper.
Vertical orientation: [Top to Bottom] or [Bottom to Top]
Horizontal orientation: [Left to Right] or [Right to Left]
If you selected something other than [2 on 1] in [Page Layout], you can select the following orders.

[Down from Upper Left]
[Across from Upper Right]
[Down from Upper Right]
[Across from Lower Left]
[Up from Lower Left]
[Across from Lower Right]
[Up from Lower Right]
