Configuring Folding

You can specify how to fold binder documents in Document Binder.

The folding configuration is saved together with the binder document as the print setting information of the binder document. Folding cannot be configured if [Booklet Printing] is set in [Print Style]. If you configure folding when an output paper size that does not support folding is selected, the output paper size switches to a paper size that supports folding.

Select the type of folding in the Print Settings Pane > the [Print Settings] tab > [Fold].

The types of folding available differ according to the printer used for printing.

Select the folding pattern you want to configure from [Fold Pattern].

Folding lines are displayed in the Preview Pane.

Dotted lines indicate mountain folds and broken lines indicate valley folds. When [C-fold] is selected, numbers indicating the order of the folds are added to the folding lines. The settings in [Output Size], [Staple], and [Hole punch] may cancel the settings of [Fold] that have already been configured.
