Main Functions of Variable Editor
"Variable printing" is a printing feature that replaces specific sections of pages on a binder document. For example, on documents such as direct mail, you may want to change only the address and recipient while leaving the rest of the document unchanged.
Replaceable data is called "record", and can use data from places such as address books and databases.
A replaceable area on the page is called a "Variable Field", and can be set for replaceable text ("Text Field"), or replaceable images ("Image Field"). Variable field settings are configured in Variable Editor.
