Ungrouping Annotations

This section describes how to ungroup annotations.

Select the group or annotation contained in a group in the Work Pane.

Or, drag the mouse pointer selection rectangle to include the desired groups in the Work Pane.

Click

(Ungroup) on the Toolbar.

Or, follow one of the steps described below.

Select the [Annotation] menu > [Ungroup].

Right-click and select [Ungroup].

The group is undone and all annotations contained in that group revert to individual annotations.

If buttons are not displayed on the Annotation Editor Toolbar, set the buttons on the Toolbar. For more information, see the following. You can select and ungroup multiple groups. When doing this, if a group containing an annotation that cannot be ungrouped is selected, all groups excluding it are ungrouped.

Some annotations grouped by something other than the Annotation Editor may not be able to be ungrouped.

You can select and ungroup multiple groups. When doing this, if a group containing an annotation that cannot be ungrouped is selected, all groups excluding it are ungrouped.
