Uninstalling the AMS Printer Driver Add-in

This section describes the procedure for uninstalling the AMS Printer Driver Add-in.
IMPORTANT
Use the previous version of the uninstaller to uninstall that previous version the AMS Printer Driver Add-in. The procedure for uninstallation is the same as for the previous version.
When uninstalling the AMS Printer Driver Add-in from a printer driver in a shared printing environment, uninstall the AMS Printer Driver Add-in from the client computers after uninstalling it from the print server. If the driver name is not displayed in the uninstaller, it does not need to be uninstalled from the client computer. Close the uninstaller in this case.
If you delete the printer driver from the print server, you will become unable to uninstall the AMS Printer Driver Add-in from the printer driver on each client computer. In this case, also delete the printer driver on each client computer.
If you delete the AMS Printer Driver Add-in from the client computers but leave it on the server in a shared printing environment, the AMS Printer Driver Add-in on the client computers may be reinstalled by a function of the operating system.

Log on to the computer as a user with Windows administrator privileges.

If you are using Windows 8/Windows Server 2012, move to the desktop.

Close all running applications.
4.
Double-click the UNINSTAL.exe in the [Printer Driver Add-in] folder.

Select the driver to uninstall the AMS Printer Driver Add-in from → click [Delete].
6.
When a message confirming whether you want to delete the AMS Printer Driver Add-in is displayed, click [Yes].
7.
Click [Exit].
8.
Click [Yes] in the displayed dialog box.
The computer will be restarted and the uninstallation completes.
IMPORTANT
If you uninstall the AMS Printer Driver Add-in, some of the print settings specified in the printer driver may be changed. Specify the settings again, as necessary.
