What Is AirPrint?

AirPrint is a printing function included in iOS and Mac OS X. It enables printing from an iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, or Macintosh without using a printer driver.

To use AirPrint, you need one of the following devices with the latest version of iOS. If you use a Macintosh, OS X v10.7 or later is required.

iPad (all models)

iPhone (3GS or later)

iPod touch (3rd generation or later)

Apple devices (iPad/iPhone/iPod touch/Macintosh) and the machine must be connected to the same LAN.
