Automatically Enabling the Remote Scanner Function
You can set to automatically enable the remote scanner function when you press [Scanner] on the Main Menu screen.
1.
Press 
(Settings/Registration).
(Settings/Registration).2.
Press [Function Settings] → [Common] → [Scan Settings].
3.
Press [Auto Online].
4.
Press [On] → [OK].
Select [Off] if you do not want to automatically make the machine go online.

If the remote scanner function is enabled, scanning is not possible with [Copy] or [Scan and Store].
