Replacing the Staple Case in the Saddle Stitcher Unit (Booklet Finisher-V)
Follow the procedure described in this section to replace the staple case in the saddle stitcher unit for the optional Booklet Finisher-V.

Open the front cover of the finisher.

Pull out the saddle stitcher unit.

Pull the lever on the two staple cartridges toward you to remove them.

Remove the empty staple case.
| Hold both sides at the top of the empty staple case.  |
 | Lift and pull out the empty staple case. |

Take out a new staple case from the box.

Insert the new staple case in the staple cartridge.

Insert the two staple cartridges into the saddle stitcher unit.
Make sure that the staple cartridges are firmly inserted.

Push the saddle stitcher unit back into the machine, and close the front cover of the finisher.
If stapling dose not work after staples are replenished, perform staple repositioning manually. <Saddle Stitch Staple Repositioning>
