User Access Control for Advanced Space

If you perform authentication management for users of the Advanced Space, you can register/delete users and edit user information such as password in [User Access Control for Advanced Space] screen.

You can specify whether to perform the authentication management in [Advanced Box Settings] in [Function Settings] (Settings/Registration). (See "Specifying the Advanced Space Settings.")

IMPORTANT
To set SMB authentication, set <Use SMB Authentication> in [Preferences] (Settings/Registration) to 'On'. (See "SMB and WINS Settings.") For information on the Advanced Space, see "Advanced Space" (Scan and Store) and "Advanced Space" (Access Stored Files).
