Saddle Stitch Position Adjustment

If you are using the Saddle Stitch mode of the Saddle Finisher-AM2 or the Booklet Finisher-T1, and you notice that the saddle stitch position of the paper are not exactly in the middle of the booklet, you can make adjustments to the saddle stitch position to compensate for this error.

This mode can be set when the Saddle Finisher-AM2 or the Booklet Finisher-T1 is attached. (See "Finisher-AM1/Saddle Finisher-AM2/Puncher Unit-BS1/Puncher Unit-BT1," "Staple Finisher-T1/Booklet Finisher-T1/External 2/3 Hole Puncher-C1/External 2/4 Hole Puncher-C1/External 4 Hole Puncher-C1.")

IMPORTANT
If the Saddle Finisher-AM2 is attached to the machine, you can adjust both the stitch position and the fold placement. If you want to adjust both the stitch position and the fold placement, adjust the stitch position first, and then adjust the fold placement. To adjust the fold placement, see "Saddle Stitch Fold Placement Adjustment." If both the stitch position and the fold placement are in the centre of the paper after adjusting the stitch position, the adjustment of the fold placement is not necessary.

IMPORTANT

If the Saddle Finisher-AM2 is attached to the machine, you can adjust both the stitch position and the fold placement.

If you want to adjust both the stitch position and the fold placement, adjust the stitch position first, and then adjust the fold placement. To adjust the fold placement, see "Saddle Stitch Fold Placement Adjustment."

If both the stitch position and the fold placement are in the centre of the paper after adjusting the stitch position, the adjustment of the fold placement is not necessary.

Press

(Settings/Registration).

Press [Adjustment/Maintenance] → [Adjust Action] → [Change Fold/Stitch Position].

Select the paper size to change → adjust the saddle stitch position by pressing [

] or [

] → press [OK].
