Black Scan Speed/Image Quality Priority
You can set whether priority is given to scanning speed or to image quality when scanning the black and white original.

Press 
(Settings/Registration).

Press [Function Settings] → [Common] → [Scan Settings].

Press [Black Scan Speed/Image Quality Priority].
4.
Select [Speed Priority] or [Quality Priority].
