This section describes the flow of operations and settings required prior to using the machine, for the functions you will use.

*1	The default setting for displaying Network is 'Off'. To use Network, press [Display Settings] in [Preferences] (Settings/Registration) → set <Network> in [Store Location Display Settings] to 'On'.
*2	The default setting for displaying Memory Media is 'Off'. To use memory media, press [Display Settings] in [Preferences] (Settings/Registration) → set <Memory Media> in [Store Location Display Settings] to 'On'.
*3	To print PDF files stored in memory media or the Advanced Space of another machine on the network, the PS Printer Kit, Direct Print Kit (for PDF), or Direct Print Kit (for PDF/XPS) is required. To print XPS files, the Direct Print Kit (for XPS) or Direct Print Kit (for PDF/XPS) is required. Each optional product requires license registration.
