Remote Address Book Server Address
You can specify the IP address or the host name for a Remote Address Book Server with a remote address book that is opened externally. You can register the IPv4 (Internet Protocol Version 4) address and IPv6 (Internet Protocol Version 6) address.
This mode can be set when the Remote Fax function is available for use. For information on the optional products required to use the Remote Fax function, see "Optional Products Required for Each Function."

Press [Set Destination] → [Acquire Remote Address Book] → [Remote Address Book Server Address].

Enter the host name or the IP address → press [OK].
A host name is a name assigned to a host computer that provides services on the network.
