System Options
By installing system related optional accessories, the user can expand the functionality of the machine. This section describes the system related optional accessories and their functions.

Super G3 FAX Board
The Super G3 FAX Board enables you to send and receive fax documents. You can also send documents that have been created in applications directly from your computer via the network.
USB Direct Print Kit (for PDF)
This is also necessary when printing PDFs stored in memory media.
PCL Print Kit
Option for using the machine as a PCL printer.
PS Print Kit
Option for using the machine as a PS printer.

After registering the license for the PS Print Kit, be sure to turn the power for the machine Off then back On, and initialize printer settings. |
Barcode Printing Kit
The Barcode Printing Kit enables you to print bar codes.

Send PDF Security Feature Set
The Send PDF Security Feature Set enables you to use the Send function on the machine with security. It enables you to send documents in the following formats.
Encrypted PDF
The Encrypted PDF mode enables you to encrypt PDF files that you send to an e-mail address or file server for enhanced security. Only users who enter the correct password can open, print, or change the received PDF.

This is a PDF file with a unique device signature. The device signature enables the recipient of the PDF file to determine which device generated the file.
