Attention (Auto Sleep Time)

NOTE
When the machine enters the Sleep mode: [] (Energy Saver) lights green.
To enter the Sleep mode manually: Press [] (Energy Saver).
The machine does not enter the Sleep mode when: the machine is in the middle of an operation the Processing/Data indicator lights or is blinking a message appears on the screen and the Error indicator is blinking (except when <Prepare toner cartridge.> is displayed) (MF4890dw/MF4870dn/MF4750 only) the machine is in the middle of an adjustment or cleaning a paper jam occurs the handset of the external telephone or the optional handset is off the hook the Menu screen is displayed the documents are set in the feeder
The machine returns from Sleep mode when: [] (Energy Saver) is pressed receiving a fax or phone call the handset of the external telephone is off the hook a print job from a computer begins the documents are set in the feeder the machine is connected to a computer via a USB cable
