Restricting Fax Sending and Telephone Dialing

Specify whether or not to restrict Fax TX/Telephone Dial from the machine.
If you set the Fax/Telephone PIN, you can send faxes and dial the telephone only when you enter the PIN.
IMPORTANT
Restriction exception:
Sending faxes from the fax driver installed on your computer is not restricted.
Making calls from the external telephone is not restricted.

Press [] (Menu).

Press [] or [] to highlight <System Settings>, and then press [OK].
If a System PIN is specified:
Use the numeric keys to enter the System PIN, and then press [OK].

Press [] or [] to highlight <Restrict TX Function>, and then press [OK].

Press [] or [] to highlight <Restrict Fax TX/Telephone Dialing>, and then press [OK].
If <Fax/Telephone PIN> is specified, use [] to [] (numeric keys) to enter the numbers, and then press [OK].

Press [] or [] to specify whether or not to restrict Fax TX/Telephone dialing, and then press [OK].
If you do not want to restrict fax sending and telephone dialing:
Press [] or [] to highlight <OFF>, and then press [OK].
If you want to restrict fax sending and telephone dialing:

Press [] or [] to highlight <ON>, and then press [OK].

Use the numeric keys to enter the PIN, and then press [OK]. The PIN can be up to 7 digits.
When the confirmation screen appears, enter the PIN again, and then press [OK].
