Restricting Fax Sending and Telephone Dialing
Specify whether or not to restrict Fax TX/Telephone Dial from the machine.
If you set the Fax/Telephone PIN, you can send faxes and dial the telephone only when you enter the PIN.

Restriction exception:Sending faxes from the fax driver installed on your computer is not restricted.
Making calls from the external telephone is not restricted.

If you do not want to restrict fax sending and telephone dialing:

Use the numeric keys to enter the PIN, and then press [OK]. The PIN can be up to 7 digits.
When the confirmation screen appears, enter the PIN again, and then press [OK].  |
