<Cause 1> Damp paper is used.

Replace the paper with new paper in an unopened package.

Follow the procedures below when plain paper (16 lb Bond to 24 lb Bond (60 g/m² to 90 g/m²)) is loaded.

Change the <Special Mode V> setting from the operation panel.

<Cause 2> The paper type loaded is not appropriate.

Solution

Make sure that the number and type of the paper loaded in the paper cassette meets the paper requirements.
