Specifying the Device Name or Administrator Information
This section describes the procedure for specifying the settings using the Remote UI.

In the Remote UI, you can specify the settings by accessing the printer from a Web browser via a network.

Start the Remote UI, and then log in as Administrator.

Select [Information] from the [Device Manager] menu.

Click [Change] under [Device Information].

Specify the device name or administrator information.

Specify the settings for each option as needed.

Click [OK].

Enter the printer name.

[Location]
|
Enter the location to install the printer.

[Administrator]
|
Enter the name of the printer administrator.

[Phone]
|
Enter the telephone number of the printer administrator.

[Comments]
|
Enter the comments of the printer administrator.
