Changing the Remote UI Settings
Specify whether the SSL encrypted communication function should be used for the Remote UI.

Start the Remote UI, and then log in as Administrator.

Select [Information] from the [Device Manager] menu.

Click [Change] under [Remote UI].

Change the Remote UI settings.

Select whether to use the SSL encrypted communication function.
If [On] is selected, the SSL encrypted communication function is used.
If [Off] is selected, the SSL encrypted communication function is not used.

Click [OK].

IMPORTANT
|
If you cannot set [SSL] to [On]Even if a key and its certificate have been created, you cannot set [SSL] to [On] when the key is not registered as the default key.

Perform a hard reset or restart the printer.
