The Printer Cannot Be Searched for

If the printer cannot be searched for when you are in the process of installing the printer driver, perform the following procedure.

Make sure that the LAN cable is connected properly, and the printer is turned ON.

Search for the printer on the network again.

If the printer cannot be searched for (no devices are displayed) even by performing the above procedure

	1.	Set [Interface Selection] in [Network] to [On]. "[Setup] Menu ([Interface] Options)"
	2.	Set the IP address. "Setting the IP Address (IP v. 4)" "Setting IP v. 6"
	3.	Recover your printer from Sleep mode or set [Sleep Mode] to [Low (Panel Sleep)] or [Off]. "Sleep Mode"
