Auto Offline
If the machine is connected to a remote scanner that is online, scanning is not possible with the Copy or Scan and Store function. If you set [Auto Offline] to 'On', the machine automatically goes offline when the [Auto Reset Time] specified in [Preferences] (Settings/Registration) has elapsed.

Press 
(Settings/Registration).

Press [Function Settings] → [Common] → [Scan Settings].

Press [Auto Offline].
4.
Press [On] → [OK].
Select [Off] if you do not want to automatically make the machine go offline.

If the Auto Reset mode is not set (the Auto Reset Time is set to '0'), the machine automatically goes offline after approximately two minutes. (See "Auto Reset Time.")
