Remote Operation
The Remote Operation function enables you to specify settings and process jobs from a personal computer by displaying the screen of the touch panel display on the computer screen.

The default setting for [Remote Operation Settings] is 'Off'.

Enabling the Remote Operation
1.
Press 
(Settings/Registration).
(Settings/Registration).2.
Press [Management Settings] → [License/Other] →[Remote Operation Settings].
3.
Press [On] → [OK].
Press [Password] to set the password.

IMPORTANT

This operation can only be performed by a user with the required privileges. For information on the types of administrator, see "Setting Administrators."
This mode is enabled only after you restart the machine. For instructions on restarting the machine (turning the main power switch OFF, and then ON), see "How to Turn On the Main Power."

You can enter up to 8 alphanumeric characters for the password.
