Recalling Settings Used on Another Machine
If you register frequently used function settings such as Copy, Scan and Send, and Scan and Store in the Quick Menu, you can also use those settings on another machine.

This section describes the procedure for registering the settings for copying a one-sided document to both sides of the paper and adding page numbers, and exporting those settings to import them into another machine.
Follow the procedures below.

1.
Place your originals.

Press [Copy].

If the Main Menu screen is not displayed, press (Main Menu).

Press [Options] → [2-Sided].
4.
Select [1-Sided
2-Sided] → press [Set Details].
5.
Select [Book Type] → press [OK] → [OK].

Press [Page Numbering].

Select [Numbers Only] → [Upright Image] →
.

Press [Next] → [OK] → [Close].

Press

Select [Register to Quick Menu].
11.
Verify the settings → press [Next].
12.
Select the recall settings → press [Next].
13.
Select the button you want to register → press [Next].

Follow the procedure below to enter a button name and comment.
Press [Name].
Enter a name for the button → press [OK].
Press [OK].
Press [Comment].
Enter a comment → press [OK].
Press [OK] → [OK].
The settings are registered.
Exporting the Settings
15.
Start a Web browser on your computer → enter the following URL in [Address].
http://<IP address of the machine or host name>:8000/custommenu
(Case sensitive.)
For example, if the IP address of the machine is "192.168.11.55," enter "http://192.168.11.55:8000/custommenu" as the URL.
The Log In page is displayed.

The page that appears differs, depending on the selected login service.

Enter the user name and password → click [Log In].

Click [Export].
The Export page is displayed.

Click [Export].
Exporting starts.
NOTE

The file extension of the exported file is ".xml".

When the file is saved, click [Log Out].
Importing the Settings
20.
Start a Web browser on your computer → enter the following URL in [Address].
http://<IP address of the machine or host name>:8000/custommenu
(Case sensitive.)
For example, if the IP address of the machine is "192.168.11.56," enter "http://192.168.11.56:8000/custommenu" as the URL.
The Log In page is displayed.

Enter the user name and password → click [Log In].

Click [Import].

Click [Browse] → specify the file to import.

Click [Import].
Importing starts.
25.
Press
(Quick Menu) on the machine you imported the settings to.

Press the button in which the settings are registered.
The settings used on the other machine are recalled.
