Setting the Fax Options

Before faxing, you need to set up the fax configuration in order to use the functions of fax options (such as the fax board) attached to the machine.
When using the fax driver for the first time, or changing the fax settings, follow the procedure below to obtain the fax information and set the installable options.
1.
Select [Print] from the [File] menu of the application.
2.
Select your fax → select [Special Features] → click [Printer Info].
3.
Check the fax information → click [OK].

NOTE
If the fax driver name displayed at the top of the [Printer Information] dialog box and the fax name displayed as [Name Retrieved from the Printer] do not correspond correctly, you may not be able to use the fax functions correctly. If the names do not correspond, delete the fax you have added in [System Preferences] and adding it again. For details, see the "Mac Fax Driver Installation Guide." (See "Installation".)
The display may vary according to the operating system, as well as the type and version of the printer driver.
