Setting the Line to Use when Sending

To "Settings/Registration Table."
You can register the method for selecting the line to use for sending.
For information on the optional products required to use this function, see "Optional Products Required for Each Function."
NOTE
You can use this mode when additional lines are installed as in the following cases:
If the Super G3 2nd Line Fax Board is added to the Super G3 FAX Board.

Press .

Press [Function Settings] → [Send] → [Fax Settings].

Press [Set Line] → [Select TX Line].
4.
Specify each setting → press [OK].
Details of each item are shown below:
[Priority TX]:
The line specified in [Priority TX] is selected to send if the line is not in use.
[Prohibit TX]:
The line specified in [Prohibit TX] is restricted. (The specified line is used only for receiving.)
Depending on the fax board installed, the lines that you can select vary as shown below:
If the Super G3 FAX Board is installed:
Line 1
If the Super G3 FAX Board and Super G3 2nd Line Fax Board are installed:
Line 1, Line 2
IMPORTANT
You cannot set both [Priority TX] and [Prohibit TX] for the same line.
Set one single line for [Priority TX]. You cannot set all lines to [Prohibit TX].
Even if you set to prohibit using [Line 1] for sending documents, [Line 1] is still used for fax information services.
When using manual sending, [Line 1] is automatically selected, regardless of the line settings.

NOTE
If you select another line on the Options screen, that setting takes priority.
