Fax Options
You can select whether to send faxes using Memory Sending or Direct Sending.
You can switch to the Direct Sending mode instead of the Memory Sending mode. The Memory Sending mode stores each scanned page in memory before sending, while the Direct Sending mode connects to the recipient before scanning and sending.
Memory Sending
All of the originals are first scanned and read into memory, and then sent. This means that you do not need to stay near the machine once the originals have been scanned.
Direct Send
The machine sends each page of the document to the destination as it is scanned.
You can specify the Sender Name to use when sending a fax.
If you have installed multiple phone lines, you can select the telephone line to use when sending a fax.
You can set a timer to send a fax at a specified time within 24 hours.
You can scan a document and then preview its contents before sending your fax. You can also delete scanned pages from the preview as necessary.
You can print a stamp (approximately 3 mm in diameter) on the front side of scanned and sent originals.
Vertical Placement
Horizontal Placement
You can set the machine to send a notification to the sender via e-mail when sending a fax is complete.
