2-Sided Original
You can scan each side of a 2-sided original that is placed in the feeder.
Depending on the region, the optional product is required to use this function. For information on the optional product, see "Optional Products Required for Each Function."

When you are scanning originals with a horizontal (landscape) orientation, such as A4R, B5R, and A5R, make sure to place them horizontally in the feeder. If you place these originals vertically, the back sides of these originals are scanned upside down.

1.
Press [Scan and Send].
2.
Specify the destination → press [Options] → [2-Sided Original].
3.
Select the type of original → press [OK] → [Close].

The front and back sides of the original have the same top-bottom orientation.

[Calendar Type]:
|
The front and back sides of the original have opposite top-bottom orientations.
