Drawer 1

If a paper jam occurs inside drawer 1, follow the procedure described below to remove the jammed paper.

Remove any paper jammed from the output tray.

Press the button on the left cover of the main unit, and open the left cover.

Open the drawer 1 left cover.

Remove any jammed paper.

Grip the handle, and pull out the drawer 1 until it stops.

Remove any jammed paper.

Gently push the drawer 1 back into the machine until it clicks.
CAUTION
When returning the drawer to its original position, be careful not to get your fingers caught, as this may result in personal injury.

Close the drawer 1 left cover.

Place your hand where the hand symbol is located on the left cover of the main unit, and then gently close the left cover until it clicks into place in the closed position.
