Scanner Noise Settings
You can set whether priority is given to scanning speed or to noise reduction when the document is scanned from the feeder.
For information on the optional products required to use this function, see "Optional Products Required for Each Function."

Press 
(Settings/Registration).

Press [Function Settings] → [Common] → [Scan Settings].

Press [Scanner Noise Settings].

Select [Speed Priority] or [Quiet] → press [OK].
