About This Driver
This driver is a Linux operating system printer driver that supports Canon devices. It uses CUPS (the Common UNIX Printing System) for Linux operating systems.
Installing this driver enables you to print with built-in device functions from the GUI (Graphical User Interface) settings screen and command line.
Printing from the Driver Settings Screen
You can execute a command and print from the displayed driver settings screen. You can also set the built-in device functions.
Printing from the Application Settings Screen
You can display the settings screen and print from the print menu of an application. The print functions that can be configured differ according to the application.
NOTEPrint functions that cannot be configured from the application can be used by changing the default settings from the driver configuration screen or the command line.
Printing from the Command Line
You can use the lpr command to print. Built-in device functions can be specified as options.
