Checking the Driver Version
This section describes the procedure for using a command to check the version of a currently installed driver.
1.
Display the package name of the installed driver.
For Red Hat type distributions
$ rpm -qa | grep cnrdrvcups |
For Debian type distributions
$ dpkg -l | grep cnrdrvcups |
2.
Check the version of the driver.
The package name is displayed as indicated below. "x.xx" is the driver version.
